Bestselling Author Mark Ford says when he was once asked, “You give financial advice to a lot of people. Some get rich while others remain poor.
What makes the difference between rich and poor?”
His answer was illuminating. He said that there are three types of people in his audience:
- The Determined Doubters
- The Daylong Dreamers
- And the Dutiful Doers
The Determined Doubters are those who leaf through one or two of his financial books and toss it away with a smirk. They say, “I know everything this author is saying.
I read them before. They all say the same thing…”
These people are too proud to follow anyone (which comes from deep insecurity, but that’s another subject altogether). And because they remain skeptics for life, they remain poor for life as well. (I believe there are NO Determined Doubters in the TrulyRichClub, or they would have unsubscribed a long time ago.)
I really pity these people. But what can you do to people who are not teachable? You can only wait that a crisis hits them and they wake up from their arrogance.
The second are Daylong Dreamers. They read all the financial books and get all excited—but like the morning dew—that excitement vanishes the moment the heat of daily routine hits them.
When they face the daily grind of job demands and house chores and family worries, they forget all about their financial dreams. I’m once one of them, it’s depressing.
Mark says you need to be in the third group of people—what he calls Dutiful Doers. After getting financial wisdom (through a book or seminar or mentor), they execute.
They apply. They just do it. Not once. But again and again and again.
These are the people that get very rich.
I want to believe (and claim in faith) that all TrulyRichClub members—especially those who have stayed with it for some time now—are already Dutiful Doers.
Each month, they invest in the stock market. And they’re looking for ways to increase their income. And slowly, they’re seeing wonderful growth in their finances.

That’s a rich resource.
I will find them. Get to know them. And tell them when I want to be Debt-Free. I’ll tell them when I want to hit my financial dreams. I will ask them to check on me regularly on my financial habits.
Be accountable.
Be a Dutiful Doer.
